SpotPin
Save real-world pins—maps, photos, reminders. Optional cloud sync or stay on-device.
Play Store
Do this first — it’s required. Joining adds you to our beta email list, which is what unlocks access to the Play Store testing link. Without this step, the Play Store will tell you the app isn’t available.
Open this after joining the group above. Once you’re in the group, this link will let you install SpotPin through the Play Store as a beta tester.
Direct APK
Android only. No Play Store needed — just download and install the file.
You will see a security warning. This happens because SpotPin is already registered on the Play Store, and Android automatically warns when an app from outside the Play Store shares the same package. It does not mean the file is harmful — it’s our own app. Tap “Install anyway” to continue.

Screenshots
SpotPin — remember where you parked, and every other place that matters.
SpotPin pins real places you care about—parking, meetups, trails, work—and keeps the map, notes, and photos in one place.
Who it’s for
Drivers juggling meter times, hikers and walkers, people who forget where they left the car, a bike, a locker, or “that one spot,” anyone who screenshots maps and loses them, and anyone who wants saved spots in one searchable list instead of buried in chats.
How you use it
Save a place in a few taps. Browse your list sorted by recent, name, or distance (with location on). Open directions or jump out to Google Maps, Waze, or your default map app. See all pins on one map when you want the big picture. Share a spot when someone else needs to meet you there.
Categories & organization
Tag spots as General, Parking, Trail, Food, Work, or Other. Mark favorites, filter by reminders, switch between active and archived. Set pin colors so types of places stay easy to spot.
Reminders & time
Set meter-style reminders with optional custom titles and messages—SpotPin can notify you when time’s up (allow notifications for that). Use an elapsed timer when you want a running clock from when you parked or arrived.
Multiple map sources
The in-app map can use more than one provider depending on your build and configuration—including Google Maps where that build is set up for it. Other basemaps or sources may or may not be available in your version. For turn-by-turn directions, SpotPin opens the navigation apps you already use (e.g. Google Maps, Waze, or your default maps app).
Sign-in & your data
SpotPin is built local-first: your places live on the device. Optional sign-in (Google or email/password) enables cloud sync—upload what’s on this phone or restore from the cloud (restore replaces on-device data; read the confirmation carefully). Prefer to stay off the cloud? Continue without an account and keep everything offline-first.
Backups & control
Export a JSON backup anytime from settings; import to bring data back. Pair that with optional cloud sync if you use multiple devices.
Settings that matter
Light/dark/system theme, metric or imperial distances, haptics and optional UI sounds, notification preferences and reminder sounds, feedback, and legal links (Privacy & Terms).
Operator
SpotPin is operated by Asetral; policies are available in-app and on the web.
