Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Asetral processes information when you use Logoly. For questions:

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Asetral, an independent software studio based in the Republic of Turkey ("we", "us", "our"), processes personal information in connection with Logoly (the "App"), an ad-supported logo trivia game distributed on mobile platforms and web. Our contact email for privacy and data-protection matters is: .

This Policy describes our practices concerning the App. It reflects how we process personal information today. Laws differ by jurisdiction; where mandatory local privacy rules impose additional protections, those protections apply alongside this Policy. If we materially change how we process personal information, we will update this Policy and change the "Last updated" date.

2. Data controller

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR where it applies, and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law ("KVKK") where applicable), Asetral acts as data controller with respect to the personal information processed as described below. Headquarters for correspondence relating to privacy and these policies: Turkey. Contact: .

3. Accounts, authentication, and cloud save

You may use the App without registering. Signing in is voluntary and allows you to back up game progress associated with one device and retrieve it later on compatible devices.

When you create or use an account Logoly uses Firebase Authentication, a Google LLC ("Google") service. If you choose email/password sign-up, Firebase processes your email address and cryptographic authentication credentials supplied by Firebase to verify your login. If you choose "Sign in with Google," Google's sign-in flows process identifiers and verification data governed by Google's privacy notices in addition to this Policy.

When signed in while using the native mobile App, gameplay state (scores, streaks, virtual currency balances, achievements, progression, and preferences) may be synced to Firebase Cloud Firestore using your Firebase-assigned pseudo-anonymous identifier (your user ID). Stored fields may include such state as serialized game data plus an optional profile display name if you supplied one during sign-up, plus server timestamps reflecting when the backup was refreshed. Signing out prevents further syncing from that session; backups already uploaded remain stored until overwritten or deleted (see Sections 13 and your account-deletion choices below). Guest or unsigned-in play remains wholly on-device as described in Section 5.

4. Advertising

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC). We use three types of ads:

Banner ads: A static banner displayed on the home screen while you use the App.

Interstitial ads: Full-screen ads shown automatically at natural break points — after approximately every three completed game rounds, or when you leave a round early. These are brief and close after a short period.

Rewarded ads: Full-screen video ads that you choose to watch voluntarily in exchange for in-game virtual rewards (credits, power-ups, or XP). You initiate these by tapping a "Watch to earn" button. Rewards are delivered only after the ad is fully viewed. Virtual rewards have no monetary value (see Section 8).

For all ad types, Google AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address, device characteristics, and usage signals to serve, personalize, and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and AdMob documentation. Where required by law, you may be shown consent prompts or offered ad personalization choices through your device settings.

5. Information stored on your device

The App uses local storage on your device (via AsyncStorage or similar mechanisms) to save gameplay and preference data, including without limitation: difficulty settings, audio preferences, scores, streaks, achievements, daily challenge progress, virtual currency balances (credits and power-ups), a counter used to pace interstitial ad frequency, and related game state.

This information remains on your device unless you clear app data, uninstall the App, or your operating system backs up or syncs application data according to your device or platform settings (for example, encrypted device backup). We do not receive a copy of this local storage under normal circumstances.

6. Network activity and data processed when you use the App

When you use the App, your device connects to the internet to load content from third-party providers.

Brand images: The App requests logo images by website domain from Logo.dev and Brandfetch. Those providers receive technical information typical of HTTP requests (such as the domain name requested, device/browser characteristics, and IP address) as described in their respective privacy policies.

Audio: Background music is streamed from Jamendo (api.jamendo.com) under a royalty-free license. Sound effects are loaded from Freesound (cdn.freesound.org) under Creative Commons licenses. Those transfers involve standard network and device information sent to those hosts and their CDNs.

Advertising: When ads are displayed by Google AdMob, Google may receive and process data as described in Section 4 above.

Authentication and cloud save (signed-in native App): Connections to Firebase Auth and Firebase Cloud Firestore as described in Section 3.

Analytics and crash reporting: Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics collect data as described in Section 7 below.

We use these services solely to operate and improve the App. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Firebase Analytics and crash reporting

The App uses Firebase Analytics, a Google LLC ("Google") service. Firebase Analytics automatically collects information about how you interact with the App, including: named in-app events (such as game_start, game_complete, category_selected, answer_submitted, hint_used, shop_opened, shop_purchase, spin_wheel, and streak_reached); screen views; device and operating system information (model, OS version, language, time zone); App version and Firebase installation/instance identifiers where applicable; and an approximate geographic location derived from IP address at country or region level.

This information is associated with a pseudonymous installation identifier unless otherwise linked via your account when you opt in by signing in. We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns, diagnose usability issues, and improve the App. Advertising measurement distinct from Crashlytics is handled separately through Google AdMob (Sections 4 and 6).

The App may use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) on supported native builds to collect crash reports and certain associated diagnostic data (including stack traces, device model, operating system version, App version at time of crash, anonymized identifiers, and related technical telemetry). Crashlytics assists us to detect instability and prioritize fixes; collection respects platform-level flags where Firebase applies them.

Google processes Firebase-related data under its standard terms for Firebase subscribers, including safeguards applicable to processors where required. Data may reside on servers in the United States and other countries. Refer to policies.google.com/privacy and Firebase data disclosure documentation.

Advertising-related controls vary by platform. On Android, you may manage ad personalization and reset your advertising identifier through your Google account and device settings. On iOS, you may limit tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Those controls principally govern advertising identifiers; Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics nevertheless receive limited technical data as outlined above strictly for diagnostics and product measurement.

8. Virtual currency and in-app rewards

The App includes a virtual economy comprising credits, power-ups (Classic and Word Guess modes), and XP. These items are earned through gameplay, daily missions, streak milestones, a daily spin wheel, or by watching optional rewarded ads.

Virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, are not transferable between users, and are not refundable. They exist only within the App and may be modified or removed if we update or discontinue the App.

We do not process any payment information within the App. No real-money purchases are available.

If GDPR applies to our processing, we rely on the following bases, as appropriate:

(a) Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering a contract: delivering the App, optional account provisioning, cloud save sync you request when signed in, and ad-supported gameplay;

(b) Legitimate interests: operating, securing, and improving the App; diagnosing incidents through Crashlytics; understanding aggregated usage through analytics; enforcing these policies; communicating with users about support requests, where such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights;

(c) Consent: where required by law or platform rules for personalized advertising or other processing that mandates explicit consent;

(d) Legal obligation: retaining or disclosing records when law compels.

10. Retention

Local gameplay and preference data (including virtual currency balances and the ad-frequency counter) remain on your device until you erase it—for example by clearing app storage or uninstalling the App.

Cloud save payloads in Firebase Cloud Firestore (signed-in native App users) persist until overwritten by newer saves, superseded upon account deletion, removed by deletion request addressed to , or erased when we discontinue the service where permitted by law.

Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics data are retained according to Google's retention settings for those products (you may review current defaults in Google's documentation; we may configure shorter periods where the console allows).

If you contact us by email, we retain correspondence only as long as needed to respond and to meet legal, accounting, or security requirements.

11. International transfers

Third-party providers (including Google for Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and AdMob; plus Jamendo, Freesound, Logo.dev, and Brandfetch) may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies and transfers require safeguards, we rely on appropriate mechanisms offered by providers (such as standard contractual clauses) where applicable.

12. Security

We rely on Google's infrastructure for Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and AdMob, and on the security measures of other third-party providers. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure; we implement reasonable measures through these providers and protect access paths we control.

13. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us at to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control (including email correspondence and cloud save data associated with Firebase if we can reasonably verify ownership of the account concerned). Clearing app data locally removes device-resident gameplay; deletion of synced cloud save or authentication records may additionally require revocation or deletion through Google account controls for Google-linked sign-ins, or contacting us where we administer the Firebase project record.

EEA/UK users (GDPR / UK GDPR): You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Turkey (KVKK): Users in Turkey may have rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), including the right to apply to Asetral as data controller and, where applicable, to file a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority.

Brazil (LGPD): Users in Brazil may have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, including rights to access, correct, delete, and port personal data, and to revoke consent where applicable.

Canada (PIPEDA / Quebec Law 25): Users in Canada may have rights to access and correct personal information we hold, and to withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

Australia (Privacy Act 1988): Users in Australia may have the right to access and correct personal information we hold, and to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

South Korea (PIPA), Japan (APPI), India (DPDP Act), Singapore (PDPA), and other jurisdictions: Users in these and other countries may have similar rights under their applicable local laws. We will respond to legitimate requests in good faith and in compliance with applicable law.

To exercise any right, contact us at . We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, where permitted by law.

14. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction, if higher). The App contains advertising served by Google AdMob. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have received information from a child in a way that concerns you, contact us at and we will take appropriate steps.

15. U.S. residents and global equivalents

We do not sell personal information for money. We use Google services (Firebase Authentication when you sign up or sign in, Cloud Firestore for optional cloud saves, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics for stability, and Google AdMob for advertisements) plus other processors listed elsewhere in this Policy. They receive identifiers or usage telemetry only as disclosed above.

U.S. residents: If U.S. state privacy laws apply to you (including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia CDPA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Texas TDPSA, or similar state laws), you may have the right to know what data is collected about you, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. For ad personalization choices, see your device settings and Google's privacy controls. Contact for any requests.

Global equivalents: Many countries have enacted privacy laws with similar rights. If you are located outside the regions specifically named in this Policy and believe a local privacy law applies to you, you are welcome to contact us at and we will respond in good faith.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date when we do. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means where required by law (for example, an in-app notice or updated store description). Continued use of the App after the effective date of changes may constitute acceptance where allowed by law.
