Effective date: 9 May 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SpotPin mobile application and related services that Asetral operates in support of it (“SpotPin”). SpotPin is provided by Asetral (asetral.com), which may appear under the trade names Asetral Studios and Asetral Software. Asetral is an online software studio with a distributed remote team. Day-to-day operations are coordinated from Türkiye, and SpotPin is offered to users in Türkiye, the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the Asia–Pacific region, and other countries. By using SpotPin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SpotPin.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter a binding contract where you live and meet any minimum age requirement that applies to SpotPin in your jurisdiction.

3. Licence to you

Subject to these Terms, Asetral grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SpotPin on devices you own or control, in line with applicable storefront rules.

4. Accounts and security

5. What SpotPin provides

SpotPin is a location bookmarking and reminder application. Depending on your device, permissions, and build, SpotPin may allow you to:

Features may change when Asetral releases updates.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in SpotPin. To run SpotPin, you grant Asetral and the service providers that act on Asetral’s behalf a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, encrypt, reproduce, transmit, synchronise across your signed-in devices, create technical copies for backup and security purposes, and use your content only as needed to provide, secure, analyse in aggregate, monetise with ads shown alongside the service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.

You are responsible for the legality of your content and for having the rights needed to upload photos, text, or location-related information. You remain responsible for verifying real-world circumstances such as parking rules, road safety, hands-free driving laws, and the accuracy of maps, routes, or reminders.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Third-party services

Third-party outages, deprecations, or policy updates may affect map tiles, ads, analytics, authentication, or navigation hand-offs. Asetral is not responsible for those third-party services beyond selecting them in good faith and keeping SpotPin materially compatible.

9. Advertising

SpotPin may display advertisements supplied by Google AdMob or other networks Asetral configures. Ad targeting and measurement follow platform rules described in Asetral’s Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

Aside from your content and open-source components identified in SpotPin notices, SpotPin—including its software, branding, and interfaces—is owned by Asetral or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed by these Terms or by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from SpotPin.

11. Fees

Asetral currently offers SpotPin without charging a separate app fee aside from monetisation via advertising. Paid features could be introduced later; any such fees would be disclosed before purchase.

12. Changes, suspension, and termination

Asetral may change SpotPin, suspend access, or stop offering SpotPin for legal, security, or business reasons or if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using SpotPin by uninstalling it and—where available—using in-app deletion tools for synced data tied to your account.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpotPin is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, or non-infringement.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asetral and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data arising from SpotPin.

Asetral’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or SpotPin is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Asetral for SpotPin in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero if no such payments were made, except where applicable law does not allow such a cap for certain types of loss (for example personal injury caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct where those concepts exist under local law).

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Asetral and its personnel against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of SpotPin, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent a claim results from Asetral’s wilful misconduct where that standard is recognised where you live.

16. Export controls

You must comply with export and sanctions laws that apply to you and must not use SpotPin in prohibited countries or by prohibited end users.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are intended to be read together with mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Where local law gives you non-waivable rights, those rights remain in effect.

Disputes should first be raised with Asetral at with a clear description of the issue. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, courts with competent jurisdiction under applicable law may hear the matter, without choosing a single exclusive country or city that displaces mandatory consumer venue rules that apply to you.

19. Changes to these Terms
